A leading home care provider is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer in Australia, New South Wales. The role involves processing invoices and maintaining vendor data with a focus on accuracy. This full-time position offers a hybrid work arrangement and support for professional development. Ideal candidates will have experience in finance and a passion for detail-oriented work.
Are you an organised and detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for accuracy and efficiency?
Your role will be responsible for supporting the financial close process and ensuring the integrity of transactional data. This role works closely with the Accounts Payable Manager and our Accountants to deliver accurate and timely financial outcomes, while maintaining ownership of core reconciliations and contributing to reporting deliverables.
You will maintain and update vendor Masterfile data to ensure accuracy and compliance, verify and code invoices through Concur in line with approval workflows, and process indirect and manual invoices for timely entry and reconciliation. The role also involves performing cash entry and matching to ensure accurate ledger updates, as well as managing non‑vendor payments via credit card, including coding and submission in Concur.
As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for processing incoming invoices, reimbursements, and credit card statements while maintaining accurate financial records and vendor data. You will generate reports as required and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries promptly. In addition to supporting day‑to‑day Accounts Payable activities, you will assist the Accounts Payable Manager and the wider Finance team with administrative tasks and other duties as needed.
