Job summary

A dynamic hospitality firm in Brisbane is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer passionate about financial operations. You will manage invoice data entry, support stakeholders, and ensure reconciliation in a vibrant team environment. Qualifications

  • Manage AP workflow and approvals.
  • Support internal and external stakeholder queries.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements.

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will play a critical role in the management of our venue’s financial operations. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing company and develop your skills within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:
  • Data Entry of invoices into MYOB Acumatica
  • Manage and monitor AP workflow and approvals and data integration to MYOB Acumatica
  • Support & resolve internal and external stakeholder queries
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Completion of Supplier Credit Applications
  • Continuous process improvement of the Accounts Payable function
  • Assisting with wider Finance duties as needed
What we’re looking for:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar end to end AP role
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • A high level of accuracy and a keen eye for detail
  • Adaptable to a changing environment
  • Proven ability to actively partner with both internal and external colleagues and management
  • Self‑driven with an ability to work autonomously
  • Willingness to continually develop own skills and improve internal processes
  • Computer literacy in all Microsoft office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems.
  • An understanding of the Hospitality Industry is not essential but would be highly regarded
