Job summary

Harmony Australasia is seeking anAccounts Payable professional to support end-to-end AP processes for multiple entities from our Milton, Brisbane office.

The role offers a full-time roster (5 days on/2 off) with flexible arrangements, including up to 2 days per week working from home. You will enter invoices, manage payments, and perform monthly reconciliations to support a busy corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar AP role (mining sector preferred).
• High attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with computerised accounting systems; Pronto or Redmap desirable.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience working in a large company is advantageous.

• Prepare bi-monthly payments and remittances.

Job description

Harmony is the largest gold producer by volume in South Africa and is a significant operator of gold tailings retreatment facilities. In Papua New Guinea, Harmony owns and operates the Hidden Valley mine and owns 50% of the Tier 1 Wafi-Golpu copper-gold project. In Australia, Harmony owns the high-grade CSA copper mine in Cobar, NSW and is constructing the Eva Copper Mine in Cloncurry, QLD with first production targeted for the second half of the 2028 calendar year. These assets are supported by the Harmony Australasia regional corporate office located in Milton, Brisbane.

Position Description

Reporting to the Accounts Team Leader, the focus of this role is to support internal stakeholders while delivering the end-to-end accounts payable function accurately and efficiently.

Roster

Full-time roster of 5 days on / 2 days off (Monday to Friday) based at our Milton office

Flexible working arrangements, including up to 2 days per week working from home

Responsibilities

• Enter invoices accurately across AUD and foreign currencies for multiple companies.
• Process and upload payment files to the bank in line with internal requirements.
• Prepare bi-monthly payments and remittances.
• Maintain documentation for invoices, payments, and supplier reconciliations.
• Complete monthly reporting and reconciliations.
