Job description

Seeking a dedicated Export Finance Officer to play a critical role in ensuring the secure, accurate, and timely collection of revenue for our resource sales. This position involves end-to-end management of the invoicing and export documentation process. Perm potential for the right candidate.

What You'll Be Doing

The primary purpose of this role is to manage the invoicing process for sales and assist the Lead with the efficient and accurate coordination of sales and marketing‑related finances and documentation. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Invoicing & Revenue Management: Coordinate the preparation and distribution of Customer shipping documentation and invoices. This includes issuing Sales invoices and true‑up credit / debit notes.
  • Export Documentation Expertise: Provide key support for Letters of Credit (LC) documentation and collate sales contract documentation. You'll also prepare document instructions to the port and to the lab, and submit the Export Declaration to the Australian Government.
  • Financial Administration: Coordinate and administer demurrage and despatch payments and receivables, reconcile daily Marketing Team bank statements, and process Foreign Currency payments.
  • Month‑End & Systems: Execute sales and revenue month‑end tasks.

  • Systems Knowledge: Experience with SAP.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in a similar role, particularly within the natural resources sector, is highly desired.
