Job summary

Fiducian is seeking an Accountant - Fund and Superannuation in Sydney to join our permanent, full-time team. You will contribute to the Fund and Platform operations, working with the external custodian and investment teams to ensure accurate accounting and reporting.

You will bring CA/CPA qualifications with 3–5 years of fund accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and a keen eye for detail. Superannuation accounting and APRA reporting experience are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified with 3-5 years’ accounting experience and fund accounting experience within a fund manager, custodian or platform environment.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and confidence working with Excel.
• Experience in superannuation accounting, taxation, APRA reporting or financial markets is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Review daily fund unit pricing and manage fund cash flows.
• Support investment trades, mandates and performance fee calculations.
• Review fund distributions, BAS and annual tax returns.
• Support fund financial statements, audits and RG97 calculations.
• Liaise with external custodian across fund accounting and registry services.
• Assist with superannuation reporting and analysis.

Join Fiducian as an Accountant - Fund and Superannuation in a permanent, full-time role based in Sydney.

Working within our Fund and Superannuation team, you will play a hands-on role across the financial operations of Fiducian’s Fund and Platform, working closely with our external custodian, investment team and other areas of the business.

What you will be doing

Reviewing daily fund unit pricing and managing fund cash flows

Supporting investment trades, mandates and performance fee calculations

Reviewing fund distributions, BAS and annual tax returns

Supporting fund financial statements, audits and RG97 calculations

Liaising with our external custodian across fund accounting and registry services

Assisting with superannuation reporting and analysis

What you will bring

You’ll be CA/CPA qualified with 3-5 years’ relevant accounting experience and, importantly, previous fund accounting experience within a fund manager, custodian and/or platform environment. You’ll also bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail and confidence working with Excel.

Experience in superannuation accounting, taxation, APRA reporting or financial markets will be highly regarded.
