Moore Australia in Coffs Harbour is seeking an Accountant with 1+ year experience in professional services to join our boutique, value-driven team. You’ll handle accounting, compliance and advisory work across diverse clients, with training and national/global exposure through Moore Global.

You’ll work under CA/CPA pathways, use Xero/MYOB/Reckon, and enjoy flexible start times and hybrid work arrangements as part of a supportive, high-growth firm.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in professional services (accounting) in a public practice firm.
• Hold or be working towards a CA/CPA qualification (desirable)
• Experience with Xero, MYOB and Reckon
• A Can-Do, client focused attitude
• Deadline driven with sharpattention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Great at building rapport and trust with team members and clients

Responsibilities

• Complete client work across a range of accounting, compliance, and advisory services
• Prepare accounts, annual income taxreturns, BAS' and more for a wide variety of clients
• Monitorclient management reports for underlying business improvement issues
• Provide taxation servicesincluding researching and concluding tax issues, verifyingfinancial results and analyseincome and expenditure, prepare & check tax returns, and gather and manage FBT systems (information gathering, completion and calculation procedures)
• Prepareand review individual, company, trust and partnership tax returns, and financial statements
• Maintain and producefinancial reports using Xero, MYOB and Reckon
