Job summary

Selective Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking an Accountant - Business Advisory for our Perth CBD client. You will join a growing Business Advisory team, take ownership of your work and build relationships from day one.

You will prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS, perform bookkeeping, reconciliations and month-end accounting, and handle payroll tax and compliance while using Xero, XPM, MYOB or QuickBooks. Work from home up to two days per week.

Qualifications

• Permanent residency or citizenship in Australia
• 2+ years' experience in tax and business services in public practice
• CA or CPA completed, in progress, or willingness to start
• Knowledge of Xero, XPM, MYOB and QuickBooks or similar
• Careful, accurate approach to your work
• Strong communication skills and a learning mindset

Responsibilities

The Role

You will join a growing Business Advisory team, working closely with Seniors, Managers and Partners. You will gain exposure to a wide range of clients and industries, take ownership of your work and build strong client relationships from day one.

What you will be doing

What you bring
