Introduction

We are currently recruiting an Accountant on a 12 months FTC basis for a leading commercial organisation. They are a leading name in the industry and show significant growth by offering world class services to their customers. It's a fast paced, driven and collaborative environment, working in the finance division, where the colleagues are engaged, aware, friendly and value encouraging ideas.

Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day transactional accounting tasks, accounts receivable, billings and general ledger entries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions.
  • Responsible for GL, journals, bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis and generate reports for management, highlighting key financial indicators and trends.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial controls and procedures are followed.
  • Stay up-to-date with accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance.
Requirements
  • 3+ years as an Assistant Accountant.
  • Proficiency in using D365.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).

Studying towards CA/CPA.
