Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Accounts Officer for a hands-on role with our hospitality client in Maroubra. You’ll support end-to-end AP/AR, payroll processes, and daily financial operations across multiple venues, ensuring accuracy, timely reconciliations and compliance with internal controls.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as an Accounts Officer, Bookkeeper or similar.
• Strong MYOB experience.
• Excellent reconciliation skills.
• AP and AR experience.
• Attention to detail.
• The ability to manage your own workload and deadlines.
• Experience within hotels, pubs, clubs, gaming or another multi-site business would be particularly valuable.

Accounts Officer | Hospitality | Maroubra

Full-Time | Permanent

If you're an experienced Accounts Officer who genuinely enjoys accounts work, reconciliations balancing, suppliers paid, payroll accurate and everything where it should be, keep reading.

• $75-$85k + super

My client is an established Australian hotel group with a portfolio of well-known pubs across Sydney.

And I'll be upfront: this isn't a shiny corporate office with beanbags and Friday cocktails.

You’ll work from the group's head office in Maroubra with a small, established finance team. It’s busy and hands-on. What they can offer is stability, autonomy and the opportunity to become a genuinely important part of the business.

You’ll gradually take responsibility for the accounts across several hotel venues, including:

• End-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Bank, credit card and supplier reconciliations
• Recording daily venue sales and tracking gaming payments
• Monitoring safe balances and venue floats
• Payroll support and employee records
• Assisting with month-end
• Compliance and training administration
• Preparing information and reports for Directors, stakeholders and auditors

You’ll ideally have:
