Job summary

Onsite Rental Group in Thornton, NSW is seeking an enterprising Account Manager to join our Newcastle branch. You will manage a portfolio of clients, develop strong relationships, and drive business growth while ensuring exceptional customer service.

Reporting to the Sales & Business Development Manager for NSW, you will pro‑actively identify opportunities, prepare quotes, support tenders, and maintain accurate CRM data to support revenue and forecast accuracy.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in hire/capital equipment or related industry.
• Ability and willingness to cold call, in person and by phone.
• Proven track record in attracting and retaining new business.
• Capacity to work safely and autonomously in the field.

Responsibilities

• Pro‑actively partner with customers to identify equipment rental solutions and opportunities to add value.
• Develop and maintain strong industry networks and relationships to support sales opportunities.
• Prepare quotes for hire and support tender submissions.
• Maintain accurate client data in CRM and assist in reporting and forecasts.

About the role

Onsite Rental Group are seeking an enterprising Account Manager to join our Newcastle branch in Thornton, NSW.

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and developing strong relationships to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Sales & Business Development Manager for NSW, your main tasks will include:

• Pro‑actively partner with customers to understand their operations & business needs to identify suitable equipment rental solutions & opportunities to add value
• Develop & maintain strong industry networks & relationships to support sales opportunities
• Assist in annual revenue & capital expenditure budgets & prepare both routine and ad hoc sales reports & forecasts
• Perform market research to identify new or enhanced sales opportunities using relevant market data
• Prepare quotes for hire & support tender submissions
• Communicate effectively with branch team to support sales activity & ensure exceptional customer service is delivered
• Maintain accurate client data in CRM system
