Job summary

Bob's Tyre Centre in Maryborough is seeking an Experienced Accessory Fitter to join our hands-on team. You will fit 4x4 vehicle accessories and work with mechanical tasks and 12V electrical systems, delivering precise workmanship.

We value attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to read wiring diagrams and instructions. A Trade Certificate II in Automotive Electrical is an advantage, as is prior 4x4 accessory fitting experience.

Qualifications

• Trade Certificate II in Automotive Electrical is an advantage.
• Ability to read and follow fitting instructions, wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Passion for the 4WD industry and experience in 4x4 accessory fitting or auto electrical background is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install and fit vehicle accessories at the Maryborough store.
• Read and follow fitting instructions and wiring diagrams to ensure correct installation.
• Maintain high workmanship standards with attention to detail.

We are looking for someone who is switched-on and experienced in Accessory Fitting; mechanical work; 12V electrical systems; or a similar hands-on role with strong attention to detail and pride in their workmanship.

Required:

• Reliable; a good team player; ability to work independently;
• Trade Certificate II in Automotive Electrical an advantage;
• Ability to read and follow fitting instructions, wiring diagrams and technical drawings;
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Passion for the 4WD industry and previous experience in 4x4 accessory fitting or mechanical/auto electrical background will be an advantage.
