Job summary

Eagers Automotive Pre delivery Centre in Fyshwick, Canberra, seeks an Accessory Fitter to join our team. You will carry out vehicle repairs and maintenance per repair orders, plan efficient jobs, order parts as needed, and follow warranty procedures.

You’ll keep the workshop tidy and support apprentices, with training provided. We offer onsite training, a comfortable uniform and safety gear, and an excellent work environment in a modern workshop with above-industry wages and a commissions

Qualifications

Must be a Qualified Automotive Fitter/ Technician with Registration Licence.
Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical operation and ability to read instructions.
Retail Motor Industry knowledge and experience in a retail franchise preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out vehicle repairs and/or maintenance per the repair order and manufacturer/state requirements.
Plan each job for maximum efficiency and order parts when required.
Follow warranty procedures and tag warranty parts with the correct information.
Care for workshop tools and equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Complete all works within standard repair time guides and document details.
