Job summary

XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an Accessibility Tester in Sydney to ensure UI components meet WCAG 2.2 AA and accessibility requirements before production. You will partner with design and development teams to identify barriers early, reducing remediation costs later.

The role focuses on manual accessibility testing, test plan execution, and collaboration within an evolving design system, including Storybook components and assistive technologies such as JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack.

Qualifications

• Experience performing manual accessibility testing across web and mobile platforms.
• Ability to design and execute accessibility test plans with clear acceptance criteria.
• Strong understanding of WCAG 2.2 AA and applying it to design systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyse accessibility defects and contribute to backlog prioritisation.
• Own accessibility reviews for design system components and guidance.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure WCAG 2.2 AA conformance before release.
• Perform regression testing using assistive technologies (JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack).
• Document findings clearly and provide remediation guidance to engineers.
