Accenture PLC is seeking a senior Oracle Financials practitioner to own the Financials workstream end-to-end in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP transformations. You will lead a team of functional consultants and partner with cross-functional streams to deliver scalable Oracle solutions.

You will advise CFOs and finance leadership, drive design decisions, and ensure adherence to standard cloud processes. Travel may be required depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years Oracle Financials implementation experience, with 5+ years leading the Financials workstream on Oracle Cloud ERP programs.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on configuration across three or more Fusion Financials modules.
• Strong experience with core finance processes: COA design, SLA, procure-to-pay, O2C, period-close, reconcilation.
• 4+ years leading functional consultants teams and managing stakeholder communications.
• 4+ years engaging with CFOs, Controllers, and VP-level leaders on design and status.

You Are:

A senior Oracle Financials practitioner who leads the full functional workstream on Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials transformations - from solution design through go-live and hypercare . You hold command-level expertise across the Oracle Financials suite. You work at the intersection of finance operations, technology, and business transformation, translating complex client requirements into scalable Oracle solutions. At the Senior Manager level, you own the Financials workstream end-to-end, lead and develop a team of functional consultants, and serve as the primary functional authority for client CFOs, Controllers, and Finance leadership. You do not just configure Oracle - you shape how finance functions operate.

The Work:

• Lead the Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials workstream across the full project lifecycle - from requirements and design through build, test, cutover, and hypercare - ensuring delivery quality, timeline adherence, and client satisfaction

• Own solution design for GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Advanced Collections - including chart of accounts design, accounting rule frameworks, payment processing, asset lifecycle, collections strategy, and period-close architecture

• Facilitate executive-level requirements workshops and design sessions with client CFOs, Controllers, and Finance leadership; document business requirements, solution design decisions, and functional specifications with precision

• Define and enforce functional configuration standards across the Financials workstream; review and approve configuration workbooks, functional design documents, and test scripts produced by the team

• Partner with the integration , data migration, reporting, and technical workstream leads to resolve cross-stream design dependencies and ensure end-to-end solution coherence

• Lead Oracle Financials data migration strategy - define migration scope, validate mapping rules for financial master data and open balances, and sign off on data quality prior to cutover

• Govern functional testing across SIT and UAT - review test scenarios, facilitate defect triage with client Finance teams, drive resolution, and obtain business sign-off on Financials workstream readiness

• Advise clients on Oracle Financials best practices and out-of-the-box capabilities; challenge unnecessary customization and guide clients to adopt standard cloud processes where appropriate

• Manage Financials workstream risks and issues proactively - identify, escape, and present options to program leadership and client stakeholders; maintain a current functional risk register

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Oracle Financials functional consultants; assign workstream responsibilities, review deliverables, and build team capability across the Financials suite

• Support Accenture Edge business development - lead functional solutioning for mid-market Oracle Financials pursuits, contribute to proposals, and represent the Financials practice in client orals

  Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements

  What You Need:

• Minimum 8 years of Oracle Financials implementation experience, with at least 5 years leading the Financials functional workstream on Oracle Cloud ERP programs

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on configuration expertise across three or more Oracle Fusion Financials modules: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Advanced Collections

• Minimum of 5 years working with core finance and accounting processes: chart of accounts design, sub-ledger accounting (SLA), procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, fixed asset lifecycle, period-close, and financial reconciliation

• Minimum of 4 years leading and managing teams of functional consultants - setting direction, reviewing deliverables, resolving escalations, and developing talent

• Minimum of 4 years engaging and presenting with authority to CFO, Controller, and VP-level client stakeholders on solution design, risks, and program status

• Minimum of 4 years working in a structured program delivery environment - managing functional scope, timeline, and quality against project milestones

• Minimum of 2 full-cycle Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementations owned end-to-end - from solution design through go-live

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (12 years) work experience (If an, Associate’s Degree with 6 years of work experience)

• Hands-on expertise in Oracle Advanced Collections - strategy management, work queues, scoring, dunning, and integration with AR

• Experience with Oracle Subledger Accounting (SLA) - journal line rule design, mapping sets, and multi-book accounting for complex enterprise structures

• Knowledge of Oracle Financials data migration tools - FBDI, ADFDI - and experience validating migrated financial balances and open items

• Experience delivering Oracle Financials in Accenture Edge / mid-market contexts - right-sized solutions, accelerated timelines, and lean functional teams

• Knowledge of AI-driven Finance automation - intelligent AP invoice processing, predictive collections, automated reconciliation - and how Oracle Cloud natively enables these capabilities

• Experience with Oracle Financials reporting - OTBI, FRS, Smart View - and the ability to design reporting frameworks aligned to client close and consolidation requirements

• Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementation certification

• CPA / CA designation and/or MBA
