Job summary

Currimundi Campus on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an enthusiastic educator for lunch float and program cover. The service is family-owned and operated, with above award wages and a supportive team environment.

You will work with young children, hold Blue Card, First Aid, and other required certificates, and enjoy an on-site chef, meals, and a culture that supports growth and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Blue Card current or willing to obtain.
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates or willingness to obtain.
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or currently studying.
• Child protection certificate and SIDS certificate via our RTO.
• Food safety and allergies certificate.
• Knowledge of EYLF and Regulations is an advantage.
• Passion for early education.

Responsibilities

• Provide lunch float cover and program cover.
• Work varied shifts and MondaytoFriday availability is preferred.
• Support from management and Education Leader.
• Contribute to a fun, supportive, nurturing environment.
• Implement EYLF and support children's development.

We are seeking enthusiasticpassionate educator for in our family owned and operated service. Our service has an exceeding rating under A and R and offers above award wages as well as staff discount to offer the best support we can to our educators. No Vaccination requirement needed.

Float position - The role is for lunch float cover and program cover. Able to work varies shifts.

Currimundi Campus is one of the last Family Owned and run childcare centres on the Sunshine Coast. You must have a strong knowledge of the national principles and child protection. We are passionate about early childhood learning and making a difference in the community and children’s lives. We have recently renovated 3 of our 4 separate yards (for separate age groups) as well as the internal building (including staff room) providing a beautiful new environment to work in. We also have an onsite chef who supplies all meals, along with many incursions including yoga and bush Kindy for our Kindy room.

You will need:

• Have experience with younger children is an advantage
• Current Blue Card (or willing to obtain)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willing to obtain)
• Qualified in Certificate III of Early Childhood Education and Care or Diploma or willing to studying either
• Child protection certificate through our RTO and SIDS certificate.
• Food safety and allergies certificate .
• Knowledge of the EYLF and Regulations is an advantage
• Have a passion for early education
• Be friendly, loyal, honest and reliable
• Ability to work within a team and unsupervised
• Available to work Monday-Friday is an advantage (flexibility and shifts negotiability available)
