• Providing high level case practice and case management working collaboratively with families and children (pre-birth to 18 years) to develop effective service responses that strengthen the safety of vulnerable Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and their families.
• Identifying risks, conducting specialised psychosocial and risk assessments, and assertively engaging vulnerable children and their families at high risk of entering the child protection system, through assessment, case planning, support and culturally focused interventions.
• Strengthening communication and fostering strong partnerships with both government and non-government agencies to create best outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and their families.
