Job description

We own and manage farms, factories, and distribution channels, ensuring complete control over the essential aspects of bringing livestock from paddock to plate.

We have a current vacancy for a safety focused A Grade Electrician to join our team located in Warrnambool, Victoria. In this role, you will be required to work alongside a crew of like-minded tradespeople to deliver maintenance onsite.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Electrical service and maintenance of plant and equipment
  • Fault finding on machines including electrical & mechanical machines and subsequent repairs
  • Installing new machines and complete electrical systems
  • Repair and maintain all types of electrical equipment

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:

  • You must have an Electrical Trade Certificate and/or other related industry qualification
  • Knowledge of common machining equipment
  • Strong experience in a similar role will be highly regarded
  • Self-motivated, problem solver & team player
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • Have strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Basic computer literacy
  • You must have the right to work in Australia (38 hours/week)
  • You must pass a drug & alcohol test and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical if required
  • You have already had a Q Fever vaccination or are willing to participate in the vaccination process

Shift Variations:

  • (12hr rotating): 2x 12hr days, 2x 12hr nights, 4 days off
  • (8hr fixed): Monday - Friday
