Job summary

ARB Caloundra is seeking a motivated 4x4 Accessory Technician to join our experienced workshop team in Currimundi, Queensland. This hands-on role focuses on professional installation and fitment of ARB products and vehicle accessories with a strong emphasis on quality and safety.

You’ll work with bull bars, canopies, suspension, electrical systems and touring gear, in a busy workshop environment, delivering high workmanship standards and excellent customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified mechanic, auto electrician, accessory fitter or proven 4WD fitment experience.
• Passion for 4WDs, touring and outdoors.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Fit and install ARB 4x4 accessories and vehicle upgrades.
• Install bull bars, suspension, canopies, electrical systems and touring equipment.
• Carry out pre-delivery inspections and quality control checks.
• Diagnose and solve installation and fitment issues.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe workshop.
• Collaborate with sales and workshop teams to deliver strong customer outcomes.

About the Role

As a 4x4 Accessory Technician, you’ll be responsible for the professional installation and fitment of a wide range of ARB products and vehicle accessories.

Your work will include everything from bull bars and canopies through to suspension, electrical systems, touring equipment and other vehicle upgrades.

This is a hands-on role where quality, safety and attention to detail are essential. You’ll work alongside an experienced team in a busy workshop environment, delivering a high standard of workmanship for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Fit and install ARB 4x4 accessories and vehicle upgrades
• Install bull bars, suspension, canopies, electrical systems and touring equipment
• Carry out pre-delivery inspections and quality control checks
• Diagnose and solve installation and fitment issues
• Follow manufacturer specifications and workplace safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop
• Work closely with the sales and workshop team to deliver excellent customer outcomes

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Motor Mechanic is preferred, but not essential
• Previous mechanical, auto-electrical or 4WD accessory fitting experience
• A genuine passion for 4WDs, touring and the outdoors
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• A commitment to workplace safety
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude and a customer-focused approach
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills

Experience in 4WD accessory fitment will be highly regarded.
