• Valid Australian Manual Driver's Licence.
• Trade qualification is highly regarded but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Install aftermarket 4WD suspension kits (coils, leafs, rods).

4WD Suspension Mechanic - $40 - $50 / hr

Our client based in Caboolture are looking for 4WD Suspension Mechanic and Accessory Fitters.

You will be responsible for getting American Trucks (RAM, FORD, CHEVY) ready for Australian roads. This role focuses heavily on high-performance suspension systems and heavy-duty upgrades.

Key responsibilities

Install aftermarket 4WD suspension kits (coils, leafs, rods)

Diagnose and troubleshoot suspension and handling issues

Ride height checks and and steering alignment setups

Fit general 4WD accessories including bull bars, winches, and snorkels

Help with 12v accessory fitting

Tyre Fitting and basic servicing

Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workshop environment

About you

Proven experience as a 4WD Fitter or Automotive Mechanic

Strong technical knowledge of 4WD suspension geometry and steering

Proficiency with air tools, hand tools, and workshop hoist equipment

12v electrical experience

Valid Australian Manual Driver's License (essential)

Trade qualification in Automotive Mechanical or Electrical is highly regarded but not essential

A strong work ethic and keen eye for detail
