Job summary

Protex Electrical Group is hiring electricians in Sydney for a varied, hands-on role with autonomy and a 4-day work week. You’ll handle residential, commercial and maintenance tasks, perform fault finding, upgrades and planned maintenance while delivering high-quality workmanship.

You’ll work with modern systems and a tight-knit team, supported by a strong office and project workflow in a growing business that values wellbeing and career progression.

Qualifications

• 4+ years post-trade experience in service, maintenance or commercial electrical.
• Current driver’s licence and White Card.
• Loves problem solving, fault finding and dynamic work.
• Comfortable communicating with customers.
• Comfortable working alone & in teams.
• Confident & calm under pressure.
• High attention to detail.
• simPRO or similar job management system experience (bonus).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, fault finding and repairs in residential, commercial and service environments.
• Upgrade switchboards and install new equipment as required.
• Troubleshoot faults, perform planned maintenance and handle on-site diagnostics.
• Interact with customers professionally and manage time effectively.
• Utilise simPRO for scheduling, job notes and materials as part of daily workflow.
