Job summary

Impact Security and Electrical – Tuggerah NSW

Impact Security and Electrical is seeking a dedicated 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Electrician to join our growing team in Tuggerah, NSW. This is a full-time position offering you the opportunity to complete your electrical apprenticeship with a reputable and established company. In this role, you will work alongside experienced electricians, gaining practical hands-on experience whilst progressing towards your qualification. This position is crucial in developing the next generation of skilled tradespeople and will provide you with a solid foundation for a long and rewarding career in the electrical industry.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting licensed electricians on residential, commercial and industrial electrical projects
• Installing, testing and maintaining electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures in accordance with safety standards and regulations
• Reading and interpreting electrical plans, blueprints and technical drawings
• Using a variety of tools and equipment to complete electrical tasks safely and efficiently
• Supporting the diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical faults and issues
• Maintaining a clean and safe work site in compliance with health and safety requirements
• Attending ongoing training and completing apprenticeship requirements
• Following all company policies, procedures and relevant legislation
• Contributing to team projects and supporting colleagues as required

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in or progressing through a 3rd or 4th year electrical apprenticeship
• Valid Australian driver's licence and reliable transport to work sites in the Central Coast region
• Genuine interest in developing practical electrical skills and knowledge
• Strong work ethic and commitment to completing your apprenticeship
• Ability to work safely and follow all health and safety procedures on site
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Physical fitness and ability to work in various environments and weather conditions
• Willingness to learn and take on responsibilities under supervision
• Current or willingness to obtain a White Card (General Construction Induction)
• Relevant First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain one
• Valid Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain one
