Central Coast Group Training (CCGT) in Gosford is hiring a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Electrician to join a professional host employer and complete the nationally recognised Certificate III in Electrotechnology through TAFE NSW Wyong. This full‑time role runs 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with hands‑on experience across commercial sites, safety‑first practices, and ongoing on‑the‑job training.

CCGT will support your apprenticeship journey, offering paid work, supervision, and a clear pathway

Qualifications

• Currently completing Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
• Have completed at least 2 years of electrical apprenticeship training.
• Willing to continue developing electrical skills in a safety-focused environment.
• Possess a driver’s licence or above, White Card, and compliance checks when required.
• Able to meet vaccination and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical maintenance across large facilities and sites.
• Assist with installation and repair tasks under supervision.
• Participate in inspections, upgrades and preventative works.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems in live environments.
• Apply WHS practices and electrical safety procedures.
• Work across commercial-scale infrastructure.
• Follow site procedures and compliance standards.
• Continue off-the-job training through TAFE NSW Wyong.
