Job summary

bestchance Child Family Care is recruiting an experienced Assistant Centre Director (2IC) for Armstrong Creek East Children’s Centre. The role partners with the Centre Director to elevate educational quality, practice and daily operations while guiding a skilled team of educators.

You will lead, coach and support staff, uphold safety and regulatory standards, and foster strong family partnerships to ensure high-quality outcomes for children and families in our community.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification.
• Substantial relevant experience in a centre-based early childhood education and care environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring or supporting educators.
• Current Employee Working with Children Check.
• Satisfactory National Police Check.
• Current approved First Aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management training.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop educators to strengthen professional practice.
• Partner with the Centre Director to influence culture, quality and daily operations.
• Ensure child safety, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
