Bechtel invites university students to join an internship program in Perth, offering hands-on experience across multidisciplinary teams. A dedicated supervisor will ensure a busy workload and meaningful exposure to real projects, aligning with Bechtel's values and project delivery standards.

Applicants must be Australian Citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance, with training opportunities and exposure to large-scale infrastructure programs.

Job Summary:

Bechtel’s internship program was created to cultivate real-life industry interest based on hands-on experience. Many new university graduate hires began their careers at Bechtel as a student intern.

During this time, you’ll see how our business works and take on tasks that will give you valuable experience all while having a real impact on our organization.

Interns work in multidisciplinary teams and you will have a dedicated supervisor who will be responsible for providing you with a full and busy workload and ensuring we provide you with the best experience possible during your time with us.

Major Responsibilities:

You will work under the supervision and guidance of respective vertical leaders and will work closely with team leads and supervisors for day-to-day activities as follows:

• Students will be learning various systems and procedures which are used by these verticals.

• Collaborative Trainees would be provided training and expected to assist in preparing weekly/monthly reports/activities including developing and utilizing databases, and various other reports.

• Shadowing and learning from experienced professionals in the field.

• Assisting with day-to-day tasks and projects.

• Participating in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills.

• Conducting research and analysis as required.

• Contributing innovative ideas and solutions to ongoing projects.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Applicants must have completed at least one year of under-graduate studies in a relevant degree
