Job summary

The Northern Territory Department of Treasury and Finance invites graduates to join its 2027 Finance Graduate Program in Darwin for 12 months of rotations across Treasury. You will work on real projects, learn from senior leaders, and gain experience in budgeting, forecasting and policy development.

Starting salary is AUD 76,000–80,000 per year plus super and relocation support. 6 weeks recreation leave, personal leave, and relocation assistance are provided, with opportunities for future career

Qualifications

• Graduates from recognised Australian universities or institutes.
• Recent graduates (past three years) or due to graduate before program starts.
• Open to visa holders with appropriate working rights.

Responsibilities

• Rotate across Treasury and work on real projects.
• Contribute to Territory Budget, economic modelling, financial reporting and revenue forecasting.
• Learn from experienced professionals and senior leaders during 12 months.

The Northern Territory Department of Treasury and Finance is looking for 10+ graduates to join our 2027 Graduate Program in Darwin.

Over 12 months, you'll complete three rotations across Treasury, work on real projects and learn alongside experienced professionals and senior leaders.

You'll build meaningful experience early, take on real responsibility and discover where your strengths could take you.
