Job summary

SGS & Co is seeking an Adaptive Designer (Packaging) to adapt global packaging assets for a leading FMCG brand in a Sydney-based hybrid role.

You will attend the client’s Sydney studio weekly, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure on-brand, production-ready artwork across languages and formats, while upholding brand governance and regulatory standards. This is a 12-month maternity cover.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of adaptive design, transcreation, artwork adaptation, or production design in packaging/FMCG environments.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management for onsite client engagements.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
• Strong packaging artwork execution, typography, and prepress standards.
• Sydney-based with hybrid work arrangement (WFH + onsite client studio).

Responsibilities

• Adaptive packaging design across formats, sizes, variants, and languages.
• Attend weekly onsite reviews with the Sydney client.
• Ensure designs comply with brand guidelines, market standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Transcreation Team Leads, Project Managers, Technical Artists, and Retouchers.
• Manage multiple project pipelines, balancing priorities without compromising quality.
