Senior Salesforce Helpdesk Support

Location: Canberra, ACT (Hybrid)
Contract: 12 months with up to 2 x 12-month extensions
Start Date: March 2026
Hours: Full-time, up to 40 hours per week
Clearance: NV1 Security Clearance

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Helpdesk Support professional to join a dynamic team delivering critical ICT solutions. This role involves supporting and enabling users, managing data, preparing reports, and delivering enhancements through configuration. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and design solutions that improve efficiency and compliance.

This is a hybrid position, typically 3 days in the Canberra office and 2 days from home. Interstate candidates may be considered but must attend the Canberra office for at least 2 consecutive days per month at their own expense.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 1 and 2 support for Salesforce applications.
  • Enable users to maximise Salesforce platform capabilities.
  • Manage data quality, modelling, and reporting.
  • Support workflows and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with outreach capabilities for stakeholder engagement.
  • Participate in governance and quality assurance processes.
  • Be part of an on-call roster (1 week per month) for critical incidents.
  • Execute data updates and adhere to data governance standards.
  • Support backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Deploy changes via Azure DevOps and perform post-deployment validation.
  • Interpret Salesforce debug logs and troubleshoot issues.
  • Work with sandbox environments and metadata structures.
Essential Criteria
  • Minimum 3+ years experience supporting Salesforce applications (Level 1 and 2).
  • At least one Salesforce certification: Admin, App Builder, or Developer.
  • Skills in:
    • Data import and management (e.g., Salesforce Data Loader).
    • Reports and dashboards.
    • User provisioning, profiles, and permissions.
    • Process automation using flows.
    • Debugging incidents in production.
  • Experience with Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Public Sector Solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to obtain NV1 security clearance.
  • Availability to attend Canberra office 3 days per week.
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Kanban or Scrum).
  • Capability in managing Salesforce Sandbox Refresh activities.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce seasonal releases and advising on new features.
  • Understanding of Apex and LWC for troubleshooting code-based issues.
