University of Vienna is seeking a predoctoral University assistant in Tax Law (Prae Doc) to support research and teaching in tax-related legal issues. The position starts in November 2026 and runs for four years with initial 1.5 years, extendable to four years unless a non-renewal is declared after 12 months.

The team of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Caroline Heber is looking for a research assistant (prae doc) with a strong interest in tax law, particularly in tax-related legal issues, in order to support research and teaching in the field of tax law, starting in November 2026. The announcement is made for four years, whereby the employment relationship is initially limited to 1.5 years and is automatically extended to a total of four years, unless the employer submits a declaration of non-renewal after a maximum of 12 months.

You actively participate in research, teaching & administration, which means:
