AT&S in Leoben hosts a Student Employee position in Digital & AI Enablement. The role is 20 hours per week, offering hands-on work in AI initiatives, scripting, and tooling to support digital projects.

Qualifikationen

• Ongoing studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems or a comparable technical field.
• University degree in chemistry, electronics, mechanical engineering, physics or similar as beneficial.
• Basic to good programming skills (e.g. Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; German skills are an asset.
• Good analytical skills with attention to details, and stress management.
• Eagerness to constantly learn and evolve with new technologies and methodologies.

We are looking for motivated student employees to support our digital and AI initiatives, combining hands-on technical work with enablement and knowledge sharing.

Your Responsibilities

• Support development of small AI & digital proof of concepts (PoCs)
• Assist with Python scripting, small tools, and data processing
• Build simple prototypes or agents using Microsoft Copilot
• Support automation and integration initiatives; help with testing, documentation, and debugging
• Contribute to AI & digitalization training (materials, demos, examples)
• Capture and share best practices, guidelines, and internal content
• Support communication to make digital topics accessible for non-technical audiences

Your Profile
