Bell Food Group in Austria seeks a strategic purchasing professional to manage product groups with analytics and direct implementation in day-to-day operations. You will shape category strategies, liaise with management, and influence profitability and supply security.

Qualifikationen

• Several years’ experience in strategic purchasing, category management or commodity management.
• Experience in purchasing of raw materials, agricultural commodities or volatile product groups.
• Strong understanding of markets – harvests, cycles, availability and risks.
• Experience in developing and implementing product group and supplier strategies.
• Fluency in written and spoken German and English.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement category strategies for key agricultural commodities – with focus on results, security of supply and long-term competitiveness.
• Analyse markets, prices, harvests, weather trends, availability and global cycles to devise procurement measures.
• Identify potential savings, risks and opportunities and implement appropriate measures.
• Plan and manage tenders – from market analysis through supplier selection and negotiations to contract conclusion.
• Negotiate independently with national and international suppliers and build robust business relationships.
• Develop supplier strategies and ensure a stable, competitive and sustainable supply chain.
• Translate requirements from Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, Production and Finance into clear procurement decisions.
• Prepare market, pricing and decision-making briefings for stakeholders and management.
• Translate strategies into concrete contracts, supplier performance and measurable results.
• Monitor developments in markets and respond to changes, risks and opportunities.
