Hostaway, a leading AI-driven vacation rental platform, seeks a Staff Backend Engineer to own the Trust Accounting subsystem from architecture to delivery. You will shape the technical direction for a financial system that is accurate, compliant, and auditable for customers.

As a founding team member, you will collaborate with product, design, finance, and legal to ensure seamless integration with the Hostaway platform while mentoring peers and driving best practices in reliability and security.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with leadership at Staff level or above.
• Strong backend expertise in building production-grade services.
• Experience designing and operating scalable, reliable systems.

• Architect a Greenfield Trust Accounting system and define V1 vision.
• Build production-grade financial infrastructure with security and auditability.
• Drive quality gates, testing, and CI/CD integration for reliable releases.
• Champion best practices in system design, observability, and security.
