Responsibilities

• Lead an agile Scrum team and guide them toward successful delivery
• Apply agile methodologies such as Scrum and test‑driven development on projects
• Expand your knowledge and experience by working on diverse projects and sharing expertise with the team
• Use communication skills in a diverse team environment
• Act as the go‑to person for technical questions and provide technical support to team members
• Ensure projects adhere to technical quality standards, including test‑driven development
• Design sustainable, state‑of‑the‑art software solutions
• Provide technical leadership and guide team members in their professional growth
• Continuously develop and improve your tech‑stack and architecture know‑how

Qualifications

• Proficiency in designing and communicating software architecture in cloud systems to all stakeholders
• Ability to estimate the financial impact of architecture alternatives
• In‑depth knowledge of analytics, object‑oriented programming, design patterns, and modularization
• Hands‑on experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes and, ideally, hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, Google)
• Enjoy coding, especially with Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Angular
• Familiarity with the books "Release It" and "Software Architecture for Developers"
• Extensive experience in developing software applications with Java for years
• Detail‑oriented with an ability to keep track of the big picture
• Enjoy leading development teams
• Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken) for Austria or Germany; fluency in Romanian and English for Romania

Compensation

Minimum salary is €62,664 gross per year in the collective agreement for Austria. Adequate to your skills, we are willing to pay much more.
