Zusammenfassung

Lam Research AG in Austria's Kärnten region (Villach) seeks a Process Engineer to work on cutting-edge semiconductor processing, applying materials science and surface engineering to develop new process formulations and define equipment hardware to meet processing requirements.

You will evaluate test data, coordinate design needs, and collaborate with customers and senior engineers to drive new technologies, while serving as the primary contact for process-related requests; occasional travel up

Qualifikationen

• MSc in Materials Engeneering with previous professional experience in Chemical Engineering; or equivalent experience in the field of wet clean / advanced packaging
• Working experience in Materials Engineering including Sensor Developing, Reliability Engineering, Process Optimization and Advanced Packaging Research is a benefit
• Familiarity with working in a chemical laboratory, having experience in surface preparation and analytical techniques
• In-depth understanding and experience in Statistical Process Controll (SPC) and Desig Experiments (DOE)
• Excellent social skills with ability to work with diverse teams
• Creative thinking and strong problem-solving capabilities, able to work in fast paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills in English

Aufgaben

• Perform professional process engineering research, development and evaluation in semiconductor environment
• Reviews processing techniques and methodes applied in the manufacture, fabrication on products including in-house lab demonstration
• Conceives and plans projects involving definition and selection on new concepts and approaches
• Works with customer and senior engeneers cross functionally to understand roadmaps, process flow, inflection points, requirements and business issues / challanges
• Acts as customer technology manager in the planning data collection, analysis and reporting
• Acts as single point of contact accountable for process related customer requests
• Drives introduction and evaluation of new technologies at customer sites including new tool qualification
• Other Job Responsibilities: Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
• Works with cross-functional teams to get information and results needed
• Flexibility to travel to meet business requirements (<25% of the time)

What we`re offering

This position is subject to the Austrain Collectice Bargaining Agreement (CBA) fpr Employees in the Material Technology Industry. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
