We're looking for an experienced and people-focused Service Manager to lead our front-of-house operations and be the driving force behind exceptional customer service and smooth workshop flow.
This role is perfect for someone who:
You’ll be the heartbeat of the workshop — managing staff, supporting customers, coordinating workflow, and ensuring every vehicle leaves the shop to a standard we’re proud of.
Welcome customers warmly and professionally
Build strong relationships based on trust and transparency
Resolve customer concerns quickly to maintain loyalty
Explain repairs, timelines, estimates, and outcomes clearly
Ensure customer satisfaction is consistently met or exceeded
Oversee all follow-up and service reminders
Allocate jobs and manage workshop capacity
Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient job progress
Review and approve repair orders and estimates
Monitor parts ordering, backorders, and stock usage
Ensure repairs are completed on time and to quality standards
Maintain workshop safety and housekeeping expectations
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with internal procedures
Lead, support, and coach the front-of-house team
Encourage a positive, respectful workshop culture
Drive continuous improvement in systems and processes
Communicate daily targets and expectations
Help technicians with information, customer notes, and job clarity
Maximise labour and parts sales through quality service
Achieve monthly sales targets
Monitor KPIs and report to the business owner
Ensure expenses and stock controls remain accurate
Approve pricing adjustments when necessary
