EMtek in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to support mining infrastructure from concept through to operation. Reporting to the Lead or Principal Structural Engineer, you will lead design across concrete foundations and steel structures for plant facilities.

You will perform structural analysis, prepare calculations and drawings to Australian standards, and mentor a growing team of electrical/controls engineers.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years' demonstrated experience in structural engineering within the mining and resources sector or related industrial industry.
• Strong structural engineering design capabilities for concrete and steel structures, with proficiency in calculations to AS 4100, AS 3600, AS 1170.
• Proven ability to produce comprehensive engineering calculations, specifications, drawings, and design documentation.

Aufgaben

• Leading structural engineering design across the full project lifecycle for mining infrastructure including concrete foundations, steel structures, platforms and walkways, bulk material handling, and supporting facilities.
• Delivering structural steel design, concrete foundation and footing design, platform, walkway and stair design, and connection design and detailing in accordance with Australian standards.
• Leading structural analysis and design activities using appropriate engineering principles and software tools, ensuring designs meet safety and client specifications.
