Jobbeschreibung

Digital Metro North is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and manage the development and implementation of small and medium scale digital information, communication and technology (ICT) project/s within the Clinical Business Delivery stream. Reporting to the Delivery Stream Lead Clinical and Business Stream within the Digital Portfolio Services (DPS) you will manage and oversee the trends and performance outlined in project plans, budgets and scheduling to ensure the projects are completed at the right standard and timeframe.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Delivery Stream Lead Clinical and Business Stream within Digital Portfolio Services (DPS), you will work closely with Clinical and Business Project Delivery team managing and leading the development and implementation of small medium scale digital and information, communication and technology(ICT) project/s, overseeing solution design, procurement, testing, implementation, change management and operational handover to ensure successful completion within agreed performance criteria that contribute to positive patient and business outcomes for Metro North Health.

Key knowledge and experience

The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Relevant experience in the delivery of complex business led transformation digital or ICT projects and delivering services to large, complex organisations preferably in the health care sector.
  • Experience in the use of appropriate project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2), and the ability to provide advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools.
  • Experience in aspects of project delivery including effective governance, assurance, benefits management, lessons learned, change management and performance management that contributes to the overall achievement of the digital projects.
  • High level oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain project deliverables and services in business term and establish rapport to cultivate productive working relationships with confident negotiation, consultation and facilitation skills at all levels within a complex digital project delivery environment.
  • Evidence of integrity and respect within a team with proven experience in identifying and managing external and internal suppliers and stakeholders which promotes the successful delivery of digital services across Metro North Health.
