Zusammenfassung

Ecolab is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to design, optimize, and improve ultrapure water and industrial wastewater treatment systems in Austria. You will work under guidance from senior engineers on capital projects from concept to commissioning.

Responsibilities include process design, P&IDs, mass balances, equipment specs, HAZOP participation, and training customer staff. Travel worldwide and collaboration with international teams are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree with strong UPW and/or wastewater treatment experience (semiconductor industry welcomed).
• Minimum 5 years experience with process control and water/wastewater treatment systems.
• Experience in regulated or high-purity industries (semiconductor, pharmaceuticals, biotech, energy).
• Strong understanding of water chemistry and treatment processes.
• Ability to interpret process data and lab results.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel worldwide; mobility essential.

Aufgaben

• Support capital projects from concept through commissioning.
• Design, calculate and optimize processes in UPW and wastewater treatment including filtration and RO/EDI etc.
• Develop and review P&IDs, mass balances, and equipment specifications for major items.
• Generate process descriptions and logic documents for complex water systems.
• Participate in HAZOP, FMEA and safety reviews.
• Provide training to end-user operations and maintenance teams.
• Support commissioning activities and hand-over.
