Zusammenfassung

NVIDIA Switzerland AG seeks a Senior Performance Engineer to join our Performance and R&D teams. You will profile, benchmark, and optimize AI and HPC workloads on GPU and CPU clusters, collaborating with hardware, firmware, networking, and software groups to extract actionable performance insights.

You will develop performance tools, define test plans, and ensure data quality, reproducibility, and traceability of results in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Qualifikationen

  • BSc or MSc in CS/CE/SE or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in performance analysis, systems engineering, or HPC/AI infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with high-performance networking (RDMA, MPI, NCCL).
  • Strong understanding of latency, throughput, and resource utilization.
  • Exposure to telemetry environments and data refinement.

Aufgaben

  • Profile, benchmark, and analyze AI and HPC workloads on GPU and CPU clusters.
  • Explore performance characteristics of high-performance networking (NCCL, RDMA, MPI, RoCE).
  • Identify bottlenecks across networking, compute, memory, and system architecture.
  • Develop and enhance performance analysis, benchmarking, and diagnostic tools.
  • Define performance test plans and set expectations for new technologies and platforms.
  • Collaborate across hardware, firmware, networking, systems, and software teams for insights.
  • Support telemetry collection and data refinement for accurate analysis.
  • Maintain high data quality, reproducibility, and traceability of results.
