Novartis in Schaftenau, Austria seeks a Senior Expert in the Method Development Team (PAS) to advance physical chemical method development, optimization and robustness testing for late-phase drug development. The role blends lab work with documentation, and requires strong analytical expertise, data skills, and knowledge of DS/DP processes.

The candidate should have a MSc (or PhD with 3 years) in a relevant field, and experience with HPLC, CE, DoE/QbD, and digital tools, plus English

Qualifikationen

• Degree in pharmaceutical sciences or related field.
• 6+ years in (bio)pharmaceutical industry with MSc, or 3 years with PhD.
• Advanced knowledge in Analytical Development.
• Expertise in Biologics DS/DP process development applying QbD.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving.

Aufgaben

• Plan, organize, perform and document physical chemical method development (HPLC/CE).
• Use chromatographic or statistical software to improve efficiency.
• Support transfer of analytical methods to internal teams and external partners.
• Collaborate with PAS labs, AE, and cross-functional teams to execute workflows.
• Design physicochemical analytical approaches for DS/DP ensuring QbD compliance.
• Interpret results and apply data and digital solutions; lead investigations.
• Author and review method development reports for regulatory submissions.
• Manage multiple priorities and communicate challenges proactively.
• Promote knowledge sharing and contribute to publications and patents.
• Evaluate new analytical technologies and DoE-based methods; advance digitalization.
