Zusammenfassung

Transak is seeking the first dedicated second-line information security hire to provide independent assurance over the business security controls. You will design and run a testing programme, test controls, gather evidence, and present independent conclusions to risk, compliance, and audit stakeholders.

You will map obligations across MiCA, DORA, SOC 2 and ISO 27001, coordinate with Risk and Compliance, and prepare board-ready assurance reporting while operating across EU, MENA, and US regimes.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in a second-line, technology risk, IT audit or security assurance role in a regulated environment.
• Independently tested technical security controls and formed own conclusions.
• Knowledge of financial services regimes and translating articles into testable controls.
• Understanding identity, cloud, change and resilience controls to test credibly.

Aufgaben

• Design and run a risk-based control testing programme for first-line security controls.
• Test controls, collect evidence, sample populations, and form independent conclusions.
• Map regulatory obligations (MiCA, DORA, SOC 2, ISO 27001) to implemented controls.
• Produce assurance reporting for committee and board; act as internal audit counterpart.
• Collaborate with Risk and Compliance; maintain a shared risk register and obligation mapping.
• Challenge risk ratings and ensure evidence supports findings under pressure.
