UniCredit Bank Austria AG in Vienna seeks a Senior IFRS Methodology Specialist with 5+ years in IFRS accounting within financial services, preferably from a Big 4 background. The role focuses on IFRS guidance, financial reporting, and the preparation of consolidated statements.

You will translate complex accounting requirements into practical guidance, support Finance, Risk, and Regulatory Reporting, and contribute to IFRS disclosures and strategic projects.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in IFRS accounting, financial reporting, IFRS audit or advisory within the financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards (IFRS 9, IFRS 7, IFRS 13, IAS 32, IFRS 10, IAS 1) and their banking industry application.
• Fluent in English and German.

Aufgaben

• Act as a subject matter expert for IFRS accounting and financial reporting topics.
• Prepare accounting position papers, technical memos, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide expert accounting support for complex transactions, new products, restructurings, and regulatory developments.
• Coordinate and review half yearly preparation of published IFRS financial statements, notes, and Management report.
