Zusammenfassung

Qualifikationen

• 5+ Jahre Berufserfahrung als Cloud Platform/DevOps Engineer mit AWS-Expertise und Azure-Kenntnissen.
• Erfahrung mit Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, modularen Repositories und Multi-Environment Setups.
• Gutes Verständnis von CI/CD-Tooling, Scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash, HCL/JSON) und Networking.

Aufgaben

• Leitung der Optimierung und architektonischen Implementierung von AWS- und Azure-Cloud-Umgebungen.
• Mit dem Team Entwicklung modularer Terraform-Repository-Strukturen, Verwaltung von States und Continuous Delivery.
• Mitwirkung an der Skalierung der Multi-Cloud-Fähigkeiten innerhalb des Platform-Teams.

Your Responsibility

You will be leading the optimization and architectural implementation of our AWS & Azure Cloud environments. Together with the engineers in your team, you keep our systems up-to-date, secure, and fast, to ensure BAWAG Group is in control. You don’t just analyze and follow up on complex incidents and problems; you design the path to long-term solutions. You will have a key role in designing our modular Terraform repository structures, managing states, and driving our continuous delivery to the next level. Within the platform team, your main focus will be on developing and scaling BAWAG Group's Multi-Cloud capability utilized by the value streams.

The Team

You will be working in one of our multidisciplinary Agile teams within the daily use value stream. The team focuses on developing and maintaining the proposition and the underlying infrastructure (private and public Cloud, CI/CD, and monitoring). At BAWAG Group, we are organized alongside value streams (Daily Use, Financial Freedom, and IT Functions and Foundations) to achieve more focus and a higher speed of delivery. At BAWAG Group, you will have the full autonomy to pursue your own initiatives and own your technical designs.

You are an excellent team player with a strong DevOps mindset. You intuitively understand what needs to be done to fully automate complex cloud operations.

Skills and knowledge we would love to see

• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Platform/DevOps Engineer, with deep, production-proven expertise in Amazon Web Services and strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure.
• Infrastructure as Code: Expert knowledge in writing clean, modular, and reusable Terraform code.
• Proven experience in designing scalable Git repository structures for multi-environment setups.
• AWS Core Stack: Deep understanding of VPC, CloudFront, Route 53, ELB, EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, ElastiCache, Systems Manager, KMS, and CloudWatch.
• Azure Integration: Ability to map and connect AWS structures to Azure equivalents and manage hybrid networking.
• CI/CD & Scripting: experience with CI/CD tooling and proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash, HCL/JSON).
• Containers & Networking: Deep knowledge of containerization/microservices and advanced networking (VPNs, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Routing).

• For this position, the collective agreement stipulates a minimum annual gross salary of € 47.255,60 on a full-time basis.
• Depending on your experience and qualifications, we are willing to offer a higher salary.
