Senior Business Services and Tax Manager

Salary: $160K - $180K including super

Firm focus: Future‑focussed, highly organised accounting practice embracing AI tools and flexible working options.

Role overview: Assist partners, review outsourced compliance work, provide advisory services and take full ownership of your portfolio using modern technology.

Working conditions: 2 days work‑from‑home, flexible start/finish or compress 5 days into 4. Underground parking, 3 minutes from train station, “lovely tearoom” with coffee and outside area. Boardroom with panoramic Brisbane river views. Tennis, pool and swim at lunch or after work.

Systems: Streamlined client‑management tools providing variety across the firm. 3 office locations (Brisbane, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast).

Future: Firm heading towards top 100 ranking in 2026 due to massive success and growth. Benefit from soft‑skills training and pathway to directorship if desired. Regular training (Knowledge Shop, compliance dashboard) and monthly one‑on‑ones to track targets and provide wellness leave.

CA/CPA support: Support for yourself or staff below you.

Ideally you will be:

A forward‑thinking, modern CA/CPA qualified senior business services manager with high standards in client management, ownership of portfolio and keen eye for growth strategies.

Passionate about helping Australian businesses, excited about embracing AI and always moving forwards for your clients.

Experienced with at least 7 – 10+ years business services and tax experience, with good longevity in previous roles.
