A government agency seeks a Senior Associate in Accounting Advisory and Compliance to oversee compliance and support ERP implementation. The role requires technical accounting expertise, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively. This temporary position offers a salary range of $129,464 to $142,665 per annum, based in Australia, with applications closing on 3 December 2025.

Expressions of interest are invited from ongoing and temporary employees within the NSW Public Sector who wish to be considered for this temporary role for a period up to 1 December 2026.
As Senior Associate, Accounting Advisory and Compliance, you will oversee compliance monitoring and reporting in line with Australian Accounting Standards, Treasury directions, and legislative requirements. You’ll play a key role in mapping finance processes, implementing audit‑driven improvements, and developing policies and procedures to support ERP implementation. This role provides technical accounting advice, prepares position papers, and ensures robust governance and risk management practices.
This is a role with strategic impact and influence on governance and compliance in a central agency. You will work in a collaborative environment, partnering with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams. Join our Finance & Operations team within the Corporate Services Group and strengthen the financial management and reporting across the Premier’s Department.
