Bybit is seeking an experienced KYB/AML Compliance Specialist to join our Vienna office. You will review corporate onboarding files, verify ownership structures, and perform enhanced due diligence on high-risk clients in a fast-growing crypto environment.

You will collaborate with AML operations and compliance teams to maintain audit-ready case files, assess sanctions risk, and help refine KYB procedures across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of experience in KYB, KYC/CDD, or financial crime compliance.
• Strong knowledge of corporate structures, ownership chains, and UBO verification.
• Experience with regulated high-risk clients including financial institutions.
• Familiarity with AML/CFT rules, sanctions regimes, and beneficial ownership.
• Certifications such as CAMS or ICA are advantageous.
• Interest in AI tools to improve compliance productivity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Know Your Business (KYB) reviews for corporate onboarding, including verification of corporate structures, Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO) identification, and document authentication.
• Perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on high-risk entities, complex corporate structures, and customers operating in regulated or sensitive industries.
• Assess PEP exposure, sanctions risk, and adverse media across corporate hierarchies and associated individuals.
• Execute ongoing monitoring and periodic reviews of existing corporate clients, ensuring continued compliance with risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and escal… unusual corporate structures, nominee arrangements, shell entities, and other indicators of potential financial crime.
• Maintain accurate and well-documented case files that clearly support risk decisions and meet audit and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with AML Operations, Compliance, and business teams to resolve complex onboarding cases and provide risk-based recommendations.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of KYB procedures, risk frameworks, and assessment criteria.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in KYB, KYC/CDD, corporate due diligence, or financial crime compliance.
• Strong understanding of corporate structures, ownership chains, UBO identification, and entity verification across multiple jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated experience handling complex, high-risk, or regulated customers, including financial institutions, MSBs, funds, and trust structures.
• Familiarity with AML/CFT regulations, sanctions regimes, and beneficial ownership transparency requirements.
• Experience with cryptocurrency-related entities (exchanges, custodians, DeFi protocols) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and research skills with excellent attention to detail and sound risk judgement.
• Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or equivalent are advantageous.
• Embraces AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity and streamline compliance processes.
