Jobgether is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join a fully remote team based in Austria. You will design and execute automated tests with a focus on Cucumber and BDD, collaborating closely with development and delivery teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure quality across multiple projects.

The role emphasizes proactive testing, strong communication, and the use of modern tools in diverse technical environments, while supporting international initiatives and professional growth.

Qualifikationen

• Proven professional experience in software test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cucumber and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with JMeter, Docker, cloud environments, Jira, Azure DevOps, or microservices.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scenarios to validate application functionality, reliability, and quality.
• Apply Cucumber and BDD methodologies to create clear, maintainable, and business-aligned automated tests.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders within Agile/Scrum processes to define testing approaches and resolve defects.
• Contribute to test planning, execution, analysis, and continuous improvement of automation frameworks and quality processes.
• Communicate test results, issues, risks, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support quality assurance activities across international projects and adapt testing practices to different technical environments.
• Where applicable, work with supporting technologies such as JMeter, Docker, cloud platforms, Jira, Azure DevOps, and microservices.
