Zusammenfassung

Speechify is seeking a backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs powering payments, analytics, subscriptions, and text-to-speech services. You will oversee the entire backend API landscape and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architecture with product strategy and user experience.

The ideal candidate has strong TS/Node experience, familiarity with GCP/AWS/Azure, and a track record of delivering reliable, scalable systems in a fast-paced, async-friendly

Qualifikationen

Proven backend development experience with TS/Node.
Experience with GCP and familiarity with AWS/Azure.
Efficient prioritization and execution.
Docker experience preferred.
Kubernetes deployment experience preferred.

Aufgaben

Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public TTS API, internal APIs like Payment, Subscription, Auth and Consumption Tracking, ensuring they meet business and scalability requirements.
Oversee the full backend API landscape, enhancing and optimizing for performance and maintainability.
Collaborate on B2B solutions, focusing on customization and integration needs for enterprise clients.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with overall product strategy and user experience.
