Zusammenfassung

WhiteBIT Group, a MiCAR-regulated company, invites an accomplished Managing Director to Vienna, Austria. You will lead regulatory compliance, strategic planning, and organizational governance for a fast-growing FinTech with a global footprint.

As a proven leader, you will drive risk management, financial sustainability, and cross-functional collaboration while ensuring adherence to Austrian and EU regulations. This role requires active day-to-day management from Austria-based residence.

Qualifikationen

• Fit and proper per FMA; integrity and experience with CASP.
• 5-7 years of experience in financial services, fintech, or crypto.
• Proven track record managing regulated financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of MiCA/MiCAR and Austrian framework for CASPs.
• Fluency in English and German; must reside in Austria.
• Willingness to co-manage with a second MD (four-eye principle).

Aufgaben

• Define and implement strategic direction in line with MiCA requirements.
• Ensure operational efficiency and scalability of crypto-asset trading, custody, and exchange.
• Lead high-level business decisions and ensure financial sustainability.
• Supervise annual reports, board minutes, audits, and regulatory submissions.
• Maintain compliance with MiCA, FMA guidelines, and EU directives (AMLD5, PSD2, DORA).
• Represent the company to regulators, partners, and investors; work with second MD.
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance frameworks; ensure staff fit & proper assessments.
• Ensure asset segregation and security of client funds and crypto-assets.
