Zusammenfassung

Lam Research AG in Villach, Austria, is seeking an experienced engineer to drive BOM structure creation, manage ECM changes, and coordinate cross-functional product integration for Spin Clean equipment.

You will liaise with development, supplier engineering and configuration management; lead risk assessments (FMEA) and act as the single point of contact for BOM questions across remote factories and on-site production. A background in CAD tools and SAP/ERP is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• HTL in Mechanical or Fluid Engineering with 8–10 years of experience, or 5+ years with a Bachelor's degree.
• Self-managed, proactive with strong communication.
• Excellent English, both oral and written.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Experience with CAD tools and SAP/ERP systems.
• Semiconductor industry and wet-clean environment preferred.

• Driving releases from development state to HVM lifecycle.
• Preparing BOMs for automated BOM creation (SAP Item Text rules).
• Maintaining BOMs via ECM and structuring components per manufacturing procedures.
• Working with cross-functional teams on product integration and maintenance.
• Engineering interface to product and configuration management.
• Single point of contact for problem reports and escalations from remote factories and on-site production for BOM questions.
• Executing FMEA; moderating cross-functional teams and presenting results in CFT with executive management.

The impact you'll make

Interfaces with development and supplier engineering to provide materials and components for company product manufacturing. Communicates product specifications to suppliers and assesses supplier's ability to meet engineering and quality requirements. Evaluates suppliers' internal functions to assess their overall performance and provides feedback in assessment of their operation. Qualifies suppliers according to company standards and may administer a Certified Supplier Program in receiving inspection to ensure cost effectiveness. Monitors parts from acquisition through the manufacturing cycle and communicates and resolves supplier-related problems as they occur. Develops and prioritizes an auditing schedule to ensure that designated suppliers are audited on a regular basis to ensure good manufacturing practices (GMP) and quality standards are met.

What you'll do

• Creation of initial BOM Structure for Development Programs according to the Product Option Architecture
• Implementation and release of new options and features on released Spin Clean products
• Driving releases from development state to HVM Lifecycle
• Preparing Bill of Materials for automated BOM Creation (SAP Item Text rules)
• Maintaining Bill of Materials via engineering change management process (ECM) and structure components according to manufacturing procedures
• Working with cross functional teams on product integration and maintenance
• Being the engineering interface to Product- and configuration Management
• Acting as the Single point of contact for Problem Reports (and escalations) from remote factory and on-site production for BOM related questions
• Executing FMEA's (Failure Mode and effects analysis) - Act as the moderator - leading a cross functional team of experts to identify risks and error cases of modules currently in development. Presents results in a CFT meeting (including executive management)

Who we're looking for

• Technical High School (HTL) education in Mechanical or Fluid Engineering with at least 8-10 years of professional experience or alternatively minimum of 5 years of relevant experience combined with a Bachelor's degree
• Self-managed and proactive working style with strong communication skills
• Strong analyzing skills and numerical ability
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Good knowledge in MS Office
• Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor or NX (or similar CAD software) would be an asset
• Experience with SAP or other ERP system
• Preferably in Semiconductor Industry, preferably in Wet-Clean Environment

What we're offering

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group E or F, depending on educational background. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
