Zusammenfassung

Etac Group's Klaxon Mobility unit in Arnoldstein, Austria, is seeking an R&D Engineer to join the product development team. You will work across the full lifecycle from concept to validation, collaborating with manufacturing, suppliers and cross-functional partners to deliver robust mobility solutions.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, hands-on CAD with SolidWorks, an eye for GD&T and a structured approach to documentation.

Qualifikationen

  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related technical discipline.
  • Experience with 3D CAD and technical drawings (SolidWorks preferred).
  • Understanding of GD&T, materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of product testing and validation methodologies.
  • Structured approach to technical documentation.
  • Basic understanding of electronics and supplier collaboration.

Aufgaben

  • Contribute to development and improvement of innovative mobility products.
  • Create and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks.
  • Support product design from concept through production release.
  • Plan, execute and document product testing and validation activities.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on technical solutions and component integration.
  • Prepare assembly instructions and production-related documentation.
  • Maintain engineering data and bills of materials in Infor M3 ERP.
  • Support ECRs and ECOs.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Purchasing and Commercial teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

We are looking for a curious, hands-on and driven engineer to join our R&D team in Arnoldstein. Whether you are a recent graduate with a strong technical foundation or an engineer with a few years of experience, this is an exciting opportunity to work across the entire product development lifecycle - from concept and design to testing, validation and production support.

Your Role And Key Responsibilities

As an R&D Engineer, you will play an important role in developing and improving our product portfolio. Working closely with colleagues across functions, suppliers and manufacturing partners, you will contribute to innovative solutions that make a real difference to users worldwide.

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of innovative mobility products
  • Create and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings in SolidWorks
  • Support product design from concept through production release
  • Plan, execute and document product testing and validation activitiesWork closely with suppliers on technical solutions and component integration
  • Prepare assembly instructions and production-related documentation
  • Maintain engineering data and bills of materials in the company’s ERP system (Infor M3).
  • Support Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO)
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Purchasing and Commercial teams to resolve technical challenges
  • Ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements
Your profile
Required Qualifications
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technical discipline
  • Experience with 3D CAD and technical drawings (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Understanding of GD&T, materials and manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of product testing and validation methodologies

Meritorious Experience
  • Experience in mechanical design, product development or engineering
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Knowledge of FEA, simulation tools and/or Moldflow analysis
  • Italian language skills
